Useful before you export

Is the downloaded image circular?

Square PNG and JPEG exports are square files; the circle is a display preview. Choose “Transparent circle PNG” to make the corners transparent. JPEG cannot retain transparency and uses a white background.

Can I use this as a Discord PFP cropper?

Yes. It produces standard square images and offers a circular preview. Individual services may crop or compress an upload differently; inspect the final result in your profile settings.

Does it upscale without losing quality?

No. Enlarging an image cannot restore missing details. Smooth resampling suits photographs; nearest-neighbor is useful for pixel art. Output is capped at 2048px to keep processing predictable.

Which files are supported?

Static PNG, JPEG and WebP, up to 20 MB and 20 megapixels, with no side above 16,384px. GIF, animated PNG and animated WebP are rejected. A damaged or unsupported file shows an error. Output is a new raster image and does not copy EXIF metadata.
